Grab & Go Summer Food Program
The Grab and Go Summer Food Program is hosted at First Parish Church and provides bags of healthy foods for those children and families who live with a food insufficiency.
For many local children the summer vacation weeks will mean days of prolonged hunger. Thirty percent of Dover's school children are eligible for free or reduced lunch and hundreds of pre-school children suffer from food insufficiency as well.
Grab and Go summer food program, has completed its fourth year, and will prepare for the 2019 distribution in late June. Run entirely by volunteers, Grab and Go served over 400 children at 15 sites in Dover last summer.
